IMO: Part of being a host is dealing with the adult world, where lots of people have sex when on vacation and traveling. Some people in the shower, in your bed, and maybe even on the floor. some quiet and quick and some porn star loud. Unless there are children present, (and I never stay where there are children or pets present;) maybe it would deserve a knock on the door or turning up the TV, or putting on your ear plugs and listening to some music. Its called the Hospitality Industry. If you aren’t ready to take on all that goes with it - maybe you are in the wrong industry. I don’t consider it my guests job to not have a good time, only to be respectful of my property and not damage things…pura vida

I’ve never heard a guest having sex thankfully, but I wear ear plugs when we have a guest, as the walls between the rooms are thin and I’m a fairly light sleeper.
If I did hear guests having sex, I’d be more annoyed with the shoddy soundproofing in my apartment than anything else!
