"It is not possible to book this property. Please contact Airbnb Support"

Maybe just s credit card dec,I be…although when it is that you usually get a message that the payment could not proceed.

Did they tell you what it was about the guest that prompted this?

It happened to me 2 days ago when guests wanted to book - I tried to book my flat and the same message was displayed - Nothing wrong with the guests - It seems that they are blocking some properties in the same way as the delisted flats a few months back - I don’t think it has anything with a glitch or something but it is intentional from their end - CS escalated it to San Francisco office but no news so far after 2 days.

@davidfrenchinlondon assuming you are in London, do you have the proper permits to list your flat? In SF and Barcelona, where we host, Air periodically purges listings that do not have the proper permits. Just a thought on what may be going on. Good Luck.

it looks like this might be a generic error message used for a variety of situations.

Before my particular case was resolved, I wondered whether, perhaps, it was caused by someone “flagging” my listing - I could imagine that Airbnb might make you unbookable until the flagging is assessed. But in the end, since the problem was with the guest, and not, as the error text suggested, the listing, I guess it’s just a catch all error they use.

@konacoconutz Airbnb never did tell me what it was about the guest that prompted it, but the guest said they had to update their payment info.

Lucy,

So was the issue finally resolved? Because I have the same issue with all of my listings and it has been over a month now. How did you get it resolved?

Thank you,

Inna

In my case it was an issue with the booker, rather than my listing, but yours definitely sounds different. I hope AirBnB support can help!

I was editing my listing and went to check neighbor Airnb listings, all of them had this listing not available. Then I logged out and checked mine, which had the same message. I called Airnb, I explained and in less than 10"seconds she said it was temporary and now fixed. I asked her to do amore thorough check, but the answer was the same. The problem was resolved but it is worrying, I can’t check my listing daily to see if Airnb is messing with it.

Best thing to try for the guest is to completely log out of AirBnB, and then log in again.

I sometimes get a message that X or Y is not possible at this moment.
Loggint out of AirBnB and Loggin in again always solves the issue.

It seems to have something to do with permissions and cookies.
