It happened to me in my first week too. I’d managed to unblock a booking made previously and the days got booked through Airbnb. I panicked and cancelled the Air booking within 13 minutes. Then I realised it would affect getting SuperHost status and had another panic. So I rang support and explained I was new and had made an error. They were very kind and let me cancel without penalty.
Long-winded comment, but you could try pleading that it was just a rookie mistake.
