I think Ireland CS team are the best, they are more human and really think before answering none sense/automated message and always try to get the issue solved.

It sounds like maybe you were hacked like I was.
See my thread on this subject.
Did you get a guest inquiry message with an Airbnb url link that you clicked on and it didn’t work? Phishing message?
Go in profile, security and see where your Airbnb account has been accessed from! If you see access from Russia or other country you don’t know contact the cyber security people at Airbnb!
Check your bank account / payment details haven’t been tampered with and your notifications all turned on!
One way to get their attention in the future is to make a new query saying you think your account had been hacked they take cyber security very seriously it’s their bread and butter you might get better help that way:
I am so glad that you got things resolved at last @GentleHart.
How frustrating for you that it took sol long to get things sorted out.
No the first we knew we were in trouble was when we received notification that we’d booked a one day trip to Thailand and the destination looked like a brothel!
Have just found out the only reason we eventually got help to solve the issue, was because I sent a press release to the UK airbnb press office, stating they had 24 hours before it went live to sort the problem out!
So there’s a trick I am putting in my “How to get Airbnb off their A**e” bag.
How did you find that out @GentleHart?
Our new case manager told us he had been contacted by their press office in the UK and that was why he got involved.
Update:
Just got our bank statement and as well as the cost and refund of the hacker booking our ‘fake’ trip, there were two debts with the same date and ref no. £200 and £99. Now it became clear what was in it for the hacker. So if faced with the same or similar, check outgoings on your statement, don’t rely on Airbnb telling you your account hasn’t been compromised in anyway, as they did with us.
Sad to say the only way we got airbnb to eventually refund was by threatening to go to the media.
The lingering outcome is our response rate has dropped from 100% to 89% and will slowly climb back up, but will never reach 100%. Airbnb, of course, have not got the flexibility to manually reset this!!
