How to get rid of really strong incense smell?

For the past 2 months, I’ve had a family from Arabia staying in one of my houses. It seems they must have been burning incense in it during the whole time!

Can anyone recommend any techniques to get rid of the smell?

Thanks

Get rid of incense smells with vinegar. Open the windows. When possible, plug in a fan and place it at one end of the room, pointing it toward the open window. Set bowls of baking soda around the home. Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of water and white vinegar.
Hope this helps

We have had multiple threads on getting rid of smells recently. Check those threads for more tips. You may have to wash/shampoo all textiles in the home.

Holy moly! There are many threads!

Please accept my apologies… I was going with the auto-suggest and it somehow didn’t suggest anything!

No worries! It’s a common problem.

Have a rule of no joss sticks, no candles etc along with your no smoking rule. Best not to have guests burning anything in the house. Also try bicarb sprinkled on the carpet then vacuumed up after it has absorbed the smells.
