How often should you wash mattress covers?

Im wondering if they need to be washed after every stay. Also, how often do you wash the hypoallergenic zippered pillow covers inside the pillowcase?

It depends. The first thing I do is inspect the bottom sheet. If that is clean (and it’s been a short stay) then I inspect the mattress cover because that too will be clean. But I run over it with the lint roller. The same goes for pillowcases and protectors.

So no, I don’t wash them every time. But I make a point of washing them after every three guests or so, regardless of the state of the sheets / pillowcases.

ok, yeah I wash after every guest.I have 5 extra mattress covers…
