How long before Superhost status reflects?

What @SuiteInSeattle said. Here in Bombay, there are many listings, but surprisingly few Superhosts. The last I checked, like about 40. So if people apply the filter (and some might) it could make a difference. I too am waiting to see if I make Superhost this time. Based on the metrics, it looks like I should, just barely - I’ve squeaked into the 80% range this time; I just missed it last time thanks to a couple of guests arbitrarily giving me 4 stars. But I’ll have to wait and see.

Or perhaps not: I see

Average Overall Rating
Goal: 4.8 overall star rating

But I’m listed as 4.7 stars. It’s been 4.7 stars forever - it never seems to change. Is that some kind of average over all the star ratings I’ve received? Anyone know?

But I don’t see that in the listed Superhost criteria, which is

Hosted at least 10 trips
Maintained a 90% response rate or higher
Received a 5-star review at least 80% of the time you’ve been reviewed, as long as at least half of the guests who stayed with you left a review
Completed each of your confirmed reservations without canceling

I think I’ve satisfied all of the above.

I’m exactly the same @faheem, forever stuck at 4.7 or 4.8. I don’t bother any more. I was a superhost for a 3-month period a couple of years ago and it was quite nice but then it became a pressure to maintain it, which I failed to do, so it was crap when I lost it! In no way do I wish to disparage the badge, honestly, but I don’t believe that it is necessary in order to have a successful listing. In fact, I would say that it can be a source of stress. I don’t want guests who are looking for perfection. I know that I’m a REAL superhost, badge or not  I’m sure you are too. Personally, I think more emphasis should be put on commitment and response rate and it should be 75% 5* overall experience. But then I would say that, wouldn’t I? Ha!
