Torture seems a bit of an extreme description to describe having an overly chatty guest who leaves snot on the shower walls and cared enough about how he is perceived to ask the host if he is doing everything right.

Yes, it might’ve been a little dramatic, but this whole thread began with a host who felt it was so egregious that she wanted the entire Internet to give her validation that it was the wrong thing for a guest to do.

Who uses judgements like “self validation”, “whole internet” etc.
I merely posted about a guest’s off behaviours.

Yes i would love to.
But i have to delete all my posts going back to 2016.
Every time i delete a post, I am unable to delete another post for 7 hours.
And look, I’m still not deleting you.
I actually hate deleting members here because everyone has a right to their own opinions.
Over the years, there have been many posters here who have [disclaimer in quote marks] ‘totally bonkers’ but if a member here is unhappy. as others have said, stop posting. Many have.
