And as far as I know, it will have to be special events insurance? I don’t think that STR insurance would cover it.
Also, anyone hosting events needs a fantastic cleaning crew. 
You are correct you need events insurance as well as STR for short term let’s. @jaquo

It’s two year since they posted - and aren’t regular members so I doubt they will see your post @estatehouse77
For my direct bookings I drafted up terms and then took them to a local solicitor to review to make they were legally complaint.
For events you will need liability insurance, to cover setting up of additional toilets and onsite catering, alcohol licenses, guest numbers, damage, parking etc
And of course you can’t use Airbnb as they have an events/party ban.
