Anyone hosting in Canada? I haven’t started yet because I haven’t figure out how to comply with the CRA 25% withholding that is supposed to be remitted by the ‘guest’ or an agent.
Airbnb didn’t have a direct answer to my question when I asked them if they remitted tax withholdings. So I am wondering if it could work that I split my Payout Method to have 25% go to my CRA tax account. Does anyone have experience in this area?
I appreciate that any replies are not tax advice, only your experiences, and I should follow-up with professional help…
