You don’t often get something for nothing which makes me think I’m missing something… I just got $220 from Airbnb called Host Offer. I have no idea why. Anybody else get this? Coincidentally it is my birthday but I can’t imagine that’s the reason!!

Thanks! No I didn’t refer a host, haven’t done anything like that or had a damage deposit claim or anything. I will ring them and report back.

You got notice that they sent a payment? You didn’t get an email with links to click on to claim it I hope.

Is it, perhaps, part of the earnings guarantee program? If you qualified or signed-up at the right time, it may be a pay-out for that.

It’s only for new hosts in ‘select’ locations. I don’t know how long it’s been available. I only recently came across it.
