Hey Siri, find me a rental in my town

I had a phone call yesterday, an older person looking for to rent a place in my area next week. I asked her if she was on my website and she said no, she asked Siri to find a place in my town. When she comes next week I may ask her exactly what did she ask? What keywords…

I have no idea exactly how Siri found me. I used Pay Per click ads for over two years to drive traffic to my website then about 6 months ago I turned that off as an experiment to see if I would still get traffic. I get a few thousand looks a month on Google maps. In my day of message I tell people to use google maps it will bring them right here so I think that helps drive the google gods.

Glad to know that I am getting found:)

Interesting! Let us know what you find out please. I’ve worked in digital marketing for fifteen years, and we’ve had limited success with voice search. I’ve found the people who use it really use it and love it, but most people don’t.

I’ve always wondered at what point AirBnB is going to start offering hosts the ability to sponsor their own listings through paid search on and off their platform. I’m betting on the next year or so, because everyone else is doing it. They won’t be able to resist the money.

You can now, google PPC, although I would never spend money to point to my AirBnb listing. Only to my website:)

I meant AirBnB would start their own paid search on the platform.
I thought about doing PPC a year ago to drive traffic to my website, but wanted to get the lay of the land first using the Air platform.
