They tried to make it so I don’t get anything again but the final agreement is that I will get paid for the 1 night and I think the guest will get a full refund, well better than nothing I guess.

We had someone lie about an extenuating circumstance once to get a refund. He booked our place thinking we were in another city and then cancelled when he realized we weren’t there. It was a same day booking and he called us to tell us he wanted to cancel. We were going to give the money back anyway but he called Airbnb and told some lie about his car breaking down and not being able to make it. So we refunded half the money as per our policy and air covered the rest.
