Hi All- I’m still looking at insurance quotes for my listing, and wonder if anyone would share their experience filing a claim with Proper Insurance? I’m nervous about getting online insurance and wonder if others would recommend it, or should I stick with my local agent? Thanks!
Hello! I haven’t had to file a claim (thank goodness, yet, knock on wood, all that …) but have been with Proper since we started renting. Our choices were incredibly limited as I could not find a single place that would cover short-term rentals for the state that we are in. We only had two choices - Proper or Cbiz. I’m currently looking to get a quote from Cbiz - it’s been 3 years and it’s just good practice to keep other places in mind. However, my experience with proper has been okay … kind of like going with Geico or progressive for your auto insurance. It’s a faceless world and I’d rather have an agent but it is our only option.
