Happy New Year from the Emergency Department! We took this selfie in the waiting room at midnight, just before the doctor called us in and helped us celebrate the holiday with wound irrigation, 8 stitches in the shin, and some valium.
Son is fine now. In the realm of NYE hospital trips, it really wasn’t too bad. I had planned to go to sleep at 10pm so at least this made New Year’s memorable and exciting!
