Sadly I actually believe the guy is real. At least he is being honest about his intentions. {shiver}

That profile pic though :yum:

Yes  This is why I think he’s joking. In my travels through the Far East, Thailand in particular, the type of men looking for a subservient sex partner were older unattractive guys who couldn’t get a date if their life depended on it at home, so they went to the sex tourism areas in Thailand and also the Philippines.

You will want to rent an entire apartment that allows visitors. That way you can test out her housekeeping skills in the cooking, cleaning, laundry dept., etc.

You don’t want to find out she is a useless couch potato after you marry her. Unless of course there is a money back guarantee on mail order brides these days…

No wonder a guy like this needs to look abroad for a wife.

That listing looks like a nice place where you can keep ladies, rub them with lots of lotion, walk them down the tiny outdoor alley, then put them in the fridge. So scary looking.

I used to have a client who went to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for ā€œsex tourismā€ with Thailand being his favorite. I strongly suspected that the reason he went abroad was that he wanted the women to be underage. I told my bosses that if I ever had solid proof I would contact law enforcement.

Ok, we’ve all had a bit of a laugh, but in case you are serious, here’s my opinion, as a host.

I would not be comfortable with ladies coming in/out, only because I’m not comfortable with locals in my place. The sex part doesn’t bother me. But presumably you’ll be hosting local women, and for me, that’s the part that I would be bothered by. Depending on the country that you’re visiting it might not be an issue, but I would err on the side of honesty with your host, and let them know that you’re expecting to keep company and see what they say.

Good luck to you, and I hope you find a life partner that you can make a wonderful husband to.

Really, I never took this whole thread too seriously, but I do commend Max for his sense of humor, which is always welcomed.

My questions about looking for hosts has been answered. Thank you.

I know some people are bothered that an aging caucasian man can go to Asia to find happiness with someone younger and more attractive from another country and culture.

Thankfully I’m not stuck with a white woman my own age for the rest of my life. Thank you Thailand and Philippines!

@Max_Flair I am bothered by any man or women from a western country who thinks it’s acceptable to exploit someone from another poorer country.

Pity the poor women in Thailand or the Phillipines ending up with a man old enough to be her father or grandfather that she has nothing in common with. And who will end up isolated in a country where she speaks little of the language and will be treated as a glorified servant with sex on tap.

Happiness for the western man. Misery for her.

I told you Trump voters that misogyny has just been legitimized. :frowning: Is that how your mom raised you to treat women?

I now think Max is messing with us to elicit a response. No real man would, act so openly piggish.

Dudley, what are you doing up in the middle of the night? It must be 2am there? Dogs keeping you up again?

Hi @EllenN,

You misunderstand me. But I was not very explicit. What I meant to say is that Asians, afaik, are frequently ga-ga over ā€œwhiteā€ skin. Or, if you prefer, Causcasians. And this observation/opinion isn’t supported by a study or anything, it’s just anecdotal evidence. Of course, as with anything, it’s a case of other things being equal. Asian ladies are no more likely to be enthused by creepy weirdos than ladies of any other ethnicity.

I do know first hand that Indians respond quite disgustingly to ā€œwhiteā€ people, particularly English people. Or that used to be the case. As India moves further away from the colonial era, and the world becomes more global, that may be changing. Anyway, I guess that’s a case (or used to be) of kissing the hand that beats you.

Nice bit of deadpan humor there, @cabinhost.

For some reason, this makes me think of this film - The Voices - Wikipedia. Note, that’s not a recommendation. I tried watching it because Anna Kendrick was in it. I don’t know what she was thinking.

It’s actually a well-made film for what it is. That’s not a recommendation either.

I was actually trying to make a very lame Silence of the Lambs joke…fell short.
