I kindly reminded them when they checked in. Don’t roll suitcases over the tatami please put your suitcases in the closet. They decided not to listen and scratched my new tatami
Oh I have tatami flooring and I didn’t realise you couldn’t roll suitcases on it. ( I have never rolled anything on it mind you - it’s just for sitting and sleeping on) and it’s still scratched…I just assumed that was normal.
I wonder if I should ask Airbnb if I can charge the guests for it
Pretty sure a scratch on your tatami won’t be covered. It will be seen as wear and tear
You can try, but it has to be done before your next guest checks in.
