does anyone know if the guests identiny has to be verified on airbnb , currently the status of the guest who made the booking in her profile is saying Identity isn’t verified. I don’t get it, when she booked it was verified, now 2 days before check in its unverified, and cs told its fine, she had many trips on airbnb already,
I think this is probably a red herring. Verification is pretty meaningless on all fronts - just shows that the guest has uploaded an identity document. The only thing that Airbnb really cares about is whether their payment goes through on not. And presumably it has which is why they are not bothered by the verification glitch now.
