I say guests can stay till 9pm but after that they have to ask permission and if still here after midnight will be charged extra guest rate (AUD30). But I live upstairs so they know I will know. I send an email at 8pm if I can hear they have guests explaining this. All have so far replied “no worries they will be gone by midnight”. And they are. Always guests visiting friends in the area. Country people where I live often drive DUI at night (reason I never drive after dark) and I’d rather they slept it off here than tried to drive home even if I didn’t get paid for it.
