Great booking, but with kids

Or tell them you have ornaments if they want to buy their own tree.

Yes! It looks like some kind of microfiber material, should clean up easy with a good enzyme cleaner.

Encase the children in plastic and put throws over them.

I totally pictured it differently. To me a sette is a much smaller piece that only sits one. LOL No way you could hide your sectional in a closet or take with you. LOL

@Ritz3 That’s definitely a chaise. But I also think of a settee as a small and less comfortable 2-seater with traditional curves like that.

@Barns Has a “sectional”.

@Barns Just put some police tape and maybe some plastic sheeting around your sofa and I doubt anyone will dare touch it.

PS I just noticed that cutie pie sitting on your sofa. He’s precious.

:laughing: @Barns I think you’ll be ok. Nine and eleven is old enough to be pretty sensible. It’s the under-5’s who make the most mess. Do the guests have any reviews?

That’s the Barrett referenced above.

yes, all fives, but I can only see his host reviews

I am glad I do not have kids staying in my Airbnb. I have a lot of fragile objects that could easily be broken and of course people always deny they broke stuff I don’t even wanna deal with it it’s hard enough to do this business let alone hosting little kids. The one time I did host a toddler he round his walker into the walls so I had to repaint. There’s enough stress that comes from just hosting two people let alone kids. I am eventually thinking of only allowing one person, that’s so much easier. When I get caught up on my bills that’s probably what I’m going to do even though I won’t get as much business I don’t really care . I also think a lot more problems occur when you host large parties like parties of six for one thing the whole party of six will not even read or pay attention to any of the rules and I notice a lot of the bad reviews on Airbnb stem from hosting large parties, that’s why I only allow two people no exceptions. Also the cleanup is much easier. I could host up to four people but why should I? More potential problems more laundry more cleaning, and right now I’m selling out every weekend so I’m good.
