Hi guys - I started posting on this forum recently because I’m interested in developing and becoming part of a community of hosts who can discuss issues, political topics and “war” stories. But I want to be part of a community that is more interested in solving problems than using wholesale discrimination against groups of people as a solution.
I believe cultural differences can be challenging for anyone in the hospitality industry. I also believe that by addressing behaviors through effective communication, problems can be mitigated.
I don’t want to spend my time responding to every intolerant remark on this forum but don’t feel right about ignoring them. I feel like not addressing them implies agreement. This is why I just don’t want to be associated with this forum in general.
