The author claims his review didn’t violate the “not relevant” reason given for removing it, but in light of him not posting the review he wrote, it’s hard to know. He may have mentioned things that the host had no control over, or complained about things that were clearly mentioned in the listing ad.
And he obviously has no idea how futile it is for most hosts to succeed in getting a lying, bad review removed.
Totally hear where you are coming from. I would just add that as a host reading reviews of guests, keep in mind the places they stayed. It would be difficult for a host of a entire place and not on property, to write a review for a host with a shared room to relate to, and vise versa. I do click on the host of a review to see what type of place they had.
