A guest notified me a day before their arrival that they want to add another guest. In order to be covered by Airbnb insurance does the reservation need to state that there are 3 guests? Thanks for any help.
Yes!! Cover all bases and add their name to the reservation, even if it is via the messaging system. Be sure to collect money on the extra guest too. Cover all bases!
Go into your booking, hit the change button and add a third person to the booking. Let your guest know that they need to click on the accept button before they arrive.
If they don’t make sure you/your rep is on hand with a laptop so your guest can log in and accept the change before you hand over the keys.
