Extenuating Circumstances Policy - was there a recent change in how it is managed?

Last month I needed to cancel a couple of reservations due to an unforeseen maintenance in the building and now I cannot find the page/link where I had to report these cancellations. Was there a change in how it is managed recently? Now I can only find information saying I need to do the cancellation first and then apply for exemption, in June I had to file a report first and then airbnb approved it for me then I could go forward with the cancellation. Unfortunately I need to cancel some other reservations because the work is not finished, what is the best way to do it?

I’ve recently been through the same thing for the same reasons - cancelled the booking (after communicating with the guest) then phoned Air who were great. I had to follow up with evidence but it all went through fine. Good luck!
