Stumbled across this and thought the review rating was funny. Also in reading multiple reviews it’s clear that people don’t read the fine print or the other reviews before buying.

That’s why they should have Super Gift Cards. There’s nothing crappier than an unclean gift card or a gift card canceling on you at the last minute.

I read the card reviews on Amazon. 15% are 1-star. Repeatedly people were complaining the cards didn’t work for existing bookings and long term stays which are both clearly excluded in the terms of use.
Yes—There is irony in Airbnb gift card reviews being bitten by the same “guests don’t read” we hosts face.
