Any idea why after only a couple of weeks of my Airbnb studio flat being in operation, would I have had two separate emails asking me for a “quote”. Surely Airbnb tells them how much the stay will cost? I reply politely saying that then they don’t reply. I assume they are hoping for a discount or similar?
Some people are just batty. Yes, they’re probably hoping for a discount. Either that, or they don’t know how to use the site.
If you have different prices set in calendar from your base price (especially when they’re higher than the base price) guests may be surprised by the figure they see for the stay vis a vis the base price and ask you to clarify!
