Astaire, she actually said the rest of the house was spotless but still have me 3 on cleaning! One thing I have noticed is if I ever have any issue (on the grand scheme of things it’s fairly minor) it is always with French guests. I am not saying anything as silly as all French guests are extra picky, it’s just an odd co incidence!
We’ve discussed this a couple of times (at least) on this forum, including some French hosts admitting and explaining why.
