Does anyone know how exactly guests can view “Check-in method”?

I have a dozen picture-illustrated self checkin instructions and other tips to ensure a smooth self checkin. Guests can normally see it 48 hours before checkin time in the reservation in the app as “check-in details” or something like that (that Airbnb keeps changing without notice). On rare occasions, some not very attentive guest can’t find it. Hosts can’t see what guests see, so I can’t help them. Airbnb customer support is being stupid asking me to cut-paste everything in messages, which I never do, nor is it convenient. They don’t seem to be aware that guests are supposed to be able to see it in the app with a convenient swipe user interface, like almost all my guests are able to.

Do you where exactly in the app a host should tell the guest to look for the check-in details? A screenshot would be great.

In the app the guest goes to their reservation and scrolls down. Below the map, there’s address, directions from the host then a checking in section.

Thank you, that helps.

Nice, that seems like a handy thing to add

  1. Smart lock: A code or app is used to open a wifi-connected lock.
  2. Keypad: Tap in a code to open an electronic lock.
  3. Lockbox: A code opens a small safe with the key locked inside.
  4. Building staff: Someone will be available 24 hours a day to let guests in.
  5. In-person greeting: Guests will meet you or a Co-Host to pick up keys.
  6. Other: You can add a different method specific to your place.
  7. Note: Self check-in may not be available in all countries.

??? Your post has nothing to do with this thread. No one asked for a list of check-in methods.

Last time you posted here it was a ridiculous list of questions guests should ask hosts.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I’m wondering if it’s actually an AI bot. Picked out the phrase “check-in method” from the title and proceeded to post something irrelevant.

I think you’re right. Some twelve-year-old kid playing around with AI. So annoying.
