Do you provide toothbrush kits for your guests?

I have a friend who is a retired nurse and retired from the military. After retiring, she started volunteering at Yellowstone every summer. Now she gets hired by Yellowstone for seasonal employment. She absolutely loves it. She drives there from Ohio by herself in her van and feels, when she arrives at Yellowstone, as if she’s finally reached home.

I’m running out of individually packaged masks, and found a decent deal for dental/medical level (4-ply) masks at Individually Sealed 4-Ply ASTM Level 3 Blue Surgical Masks by Purago ( — My DDS Supply

Probably went overboard; it looks like the level 2 would suffice unless someone’s actually sneezing or spitting at you.

These are ineffective against Omicron; recommendation is for KN95 or better from the CDC.

Granted surgical masks are a step down but they’re in my budget and intended for back up use by guests in a pinch. Recommendations I’ve seen are to put a cloth mask on top for reasonable (not superior) omicron protection.

Honestly, these are not a big difference between the right mask in cost. I’d suggest getting the correct mask for the guests, and one somebody requests one give them the right one. Shaving 50 or $.75 off the mask price is not a good look…

It’s always a decision what level of amenities to provide or not provide. Given my blaring “Pro-Vax” Airbnb title, I’m confident my guests are bringing their own masks. I just provide a few extra packaged surgical masks in the separate STR suite. They are rarely taken.

But if anyone has a good source of individually-packaged higher level masks, please post.

I don’t offer tooth brush kits and guest have never once complained. I mention exactly what is included in my listing. As soon as I get a complaint I suppose I’ll start including it and increase rates. I do provide trash bags, body wash, dishsoap, hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels, TP, dish soap.

I keep a few toothbrushes and small toothpastes in case someone has lost their luggage, etc. I do put out small soaps and shampoos and conditioners but almost no one takes them. Most of what I have is for “emergency” use - so that people don’t have to run out to the pharmacy in the middle of the night.
