If for no other reason than to inform the guest of the host’s expectations.
It’s not based on number of uses as much as how well they endure the use and washings. And rather than throw mine out I put them in a cabinet for guests to use on the furniture when they want the dogs/cats/bunnies/etc. on them.
People are too quick to throw thing in the trash instead if repurposing them
@Ritz3 So happy to hear you say that! I’m currently sorting through the cupboards in my house and the elastic on many of the fitted sheets is shot. I shouldn’t take them to Goodwill. So I’ll check the animal shelter.
Guests don’t want to pay extra for the extras they bring I noticed that.
Guests look for reasons to complain to get refunded - even if they have to manufacture it Definetely.
Guests take things so they feel they got value for the stay. That’s interesting it made me wonder why guests steal things like pens and coat hangers, towels etc.
This is the hospitality game yes cost of doing business. Also a goes with a decline in those attending church aka ‘though shall not steal’ and a general modern day acceptance of petty crime. I recall someone getting caught stealing toilet paper from work…they fail to register it as stealing…

Echo, as you’re a new member, you probably don’t understand that reviving a topic that hasn’t had any activity for 10 months is a big no-no. You see, Airbnb regs might have changed - also the people who posted here when the thread was new may no longer be hosting.
Because your post doesn’t really add anything new to the conversation here, I think it might be a good idea to close it as a housekeeping measure.
