They can ask what they like, as long as I have the right to refuse, that is fine.
What surprises me, is that they are being judged for asking. So much for non judgemental hosts.

Too bad! Was looking at your listing for pre/post cruise sometime. I travel with my sister. Do not wish to share bed with her! Oh well!
Why not?
I wouldn’t want to share one with my brother because he snores so badly.
Hopefully in the next month/six weeks we’ll have another listing just a few yards from our rental which has a queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the lounge - both brand new 
We get so many guests who stay with us before or after a cruise!
