I’m new to this but I would like to purchase a property strictly for AirBnB usage. It’s bascially a house but can be easily converted into 4 separate rooms with a common kitchen. I am currently looking at this property which I think is perfect for AirBnb however for some strange reason it is zoned commercial.
Has anyone ever experience anything similar? Do I need to get it rezone residential afterall my intention is to make this into like a ‘hotel’.
Actually, your planned usage as strictly an AirBNB is considered commercial. Look into commercial insurance policy costs so you have a proper accounting of your annual expenses. Good luck!
