Our trip was good in the house we had in Kissimmee but soon as we seen roaches in the kitchen our joy and time on vacation was spent buying cleaners and killing roaches!! Who’d want to spend a vacation cleaning and not being able to use the kitchen area??? We complained to the owner and all he said was thanks for letting him know the problem!!!
Wow no partial or refund of some sort for the cleaning fee??? I guess he doesn’t care about getting negative reviews but if he has the problem with his air bnb why don’t he get the place exsterminted for the roach problem so guest won’t be bothered!!
We were unable to use the kitchen for the whole time we were there!!!

I am in Australia and live in the sub tropics and unfortunately cockroaches are common, particularly in Summer.

They are very common in Florida too, as we’ve mentioned several times in this topic. Those of us who live here aren’t squeamish about them at all.

Oh boy. palmetto bugs vs cockroaches
Palmetto bugs are wood cockroaches found in SE USA over to Texas and do not carry the pestilence of Some other cockroaches. They do not carry salmonella & e-coli. However Still undesirable. Freaky startling when the big adults fly
