I can let guests know they can ski right in and out of my listing. Really? Really? C’mon Airbnb. How about a pet fee option or a filter to search for private entrance or ensuite bathroom? I must be really out of touch with what airbnb has become if there is a big market for this.
Private bathroom means only the guest uses the bathroom. It could be across the hall, down the hall or even upstairs or downstairs. Ensuite means it’s in the room/connected to the room. This may seem like an insignificant difference but I have been in and have guests who have been in the situation where what they wanted and needed was ensuite, not a bathroom across the the hall.
Regardless of whether one views “private bathroom” to be an adequate label or not, I can’t be the only one surprised that "ski in and out " is a priority for airbnb. Every listing has some sort of bathroom, not every listing has skiiing.
Ski in and out is extremely important for skiers though, if you have ever tried to move around with your ski boots, especially tried to reach ski-lifts - you would know what I am talking about
also costs shittons of money to get a house/flat on resort with that option.
My cousin has a ski in/out condo on a resort slope.
His unit stays booked for the season. Ski from the home down the slope to the ticketing/lift area, get your pass, ski until lunch-hop in for lunch, ski rest of day, ski home. No drive time so the guest can make the most of their time.
I’m guessing one of the Airbnb developers is a snow skier.
I wish one of them had a dog friendly rental and would get busy with an easy pet fee add-on.
Hike onto deserted trails with stupendous view directly from the unit<><>
And you know the skier has to hump his skis back UP to the unit, right, and that’s after skiing all day, wow I’m remembering<><> it was a ton of fun,.,. fresh powder
