Clawfoot tub owners! Keeping tub pearly white?

we have a robot vac for cleaning everywhere - they fit under tubs, beds, and the hose hardly ever needs a ‘dusting’ on surfaces - maybe once every month or so…

Maybe it would be easier to get into it, maybe not. I think that those risers would be hard to make it look right<><>

Standard feet on a tub is usually 6 inches, so six inches height under the bottom of the tub… the height of the tub is tall already so adding more height would make it next to impossible to get into…

I wasn’t thinking risers of 6"- just raising it 3 inches or so would make it easier to clean under. And there could be a step in front of the tub, the same height as the risers, so it wasn’t hard to get into. Just an idea.

that is gorgeous. what they are really made for. A clawfoot in an airbnb is not ideal but I know I always looked for one as a guest. It’s what I got to work with… I really am stumped how that piece of soap stained the white… Update for those who want to know the cure! 2 days in bleach didn’t work and I read later can ruin the paint/enamel. So won’t try that again. Left baking soda and peroxide on for a day and scrubbed and its 50% better. Still noticeable - which ruins the appeal of a clean tub. May have to resort to those decals people mentioned -but will try one more round of baking/soda/peroxide, THEN magic eraser- then if all else fails- decals… Which may stick too much and remove my paint job when removed but I only plan about 2 more summers anyway with the airbnb. So would leave them on til then.

Well so far.
Bleach - 3 days soak- didn’t work
Baking soda & hydrogen peroxide- overnight - didn’t work…

So I guess magic eraser is next on the agenda

Test the magic eraser on a small area where it won’t show, if possible. It can dull the finish on painted stuff.

Robot vacs all the way for cleaning under our claw foot bath-& other hard to reach places. Ours, affectionately called ‘Cora’ is also able to wash as well as vac. She is amazing & we love her.

ahahaha… i hear about these but find it hard to believe they can actually wash and vac… i am so undomestic- the first year of airbnb i used a broom til my neighbour told me to get a vacuum… lol… a eureka moment… i will look into this. thanks.
