FOR CANADIANS : I cancelled my homeowners insurance with TD Insurance Meloche Monex and switched over to Aviva.
( April insurance was extremely expensive and restrictive, Square One does not offer their insurance in my province )
Aviva offered similar coverage as my TD insurance plus Airbnb coverage for my two rooms for a lower overall price than what TD was charging me for coverage without Airbnb. The price difference even covered the increase in my car insurance with TD due to the fact that I no longer had a 2 product discount. Since I live in the home, there is no limit of the number of days of Airbnb rentals in the year. I am extremely happy to finally have appropriate insurance.

Awesome! Any other suggestions for good Canadian insurance companies that approve Airbnb?
I only know of the three that I mentioned.

So Airbnb coverage : SQUARE ONE ( not all provinces, APRIL INSURANCE ( expensive and a lot of restrictions), AVIVA ( flexible and good pricing )

20 years car and tenant insurance, 6 years home insurance.
