This debacle has been going on for Toronto hosts and their guests for a couple of months now. Hosts have called the City, confirming that their license is valid, but Airbnb keeps cancelling the bookings. I’m glad this finally made the news.

Wowsers!! What a nightmare! Thanks for sharing. We don’t yet have that registration process here in New Brunswick – but certainly appreciative of the info for when the day does come. Seems like Airbnb should have been more cooperative with accommodating the fees etc. That is disappointing.
