Australia capital gains tax

Well I have only been doing airbnb for a few months. Now I am going to cease it as I don’t want to have my home subject to capital gains tax when I sell it. The ATO is clear that the room that has been making money now exempts you from the 100% personal use of the home and is subject to capital gains tax. This is really unfair as I was enjoying doing airbnb. It’s bad enough you have to declare the income from the rent but the CGT just does not make it worth it
