I’m a Realtor, you’d think I’d know, but I don’t. In the future, I’m planning on purchasing a home in the greater Temecula area that will allow Airbnb’s ie STRs. My understanding of the rules is that within city limits they are either just not allowed or hosts have to live on site. In the unincorporated areas, the county rules apply and Riverside county does allow them UNLESS the HOA forbids them. You’d think I could just search within a mapped area, exclude the city names and included unincorpoated and no HOA. But most Realtors put that the homes are in whatever city is closest, so that doesnt work. Anyone have any ideas? What do they do in your area?
