Anyone offer a sofa bed or air mattress and charge more?

I think @JamJerrupSunset was being sarcastic lol :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

That looks really nice. I don’t know where I’d store such a big thing though.

I’m in NYC, and once when guests wanted to extend their stay but we had a one nighter in the middle of their dates i offered them an air mattress in our living room for $50/ night.

I had it up on Air for 5 minutes, waiting for the guests to find it and book, and got an inquiry from some random guy.

… in the end we decided that was too invasive to have in the middle of our living room, so it was not sustainable, but our $50/ night daybed on the unheated porch (not available in winter, we’re not actually slumlords) is super popular because the youth hostels charge the same for a bunk in a shared room.

I have a similar setup (1 bed/1 bath) but only charge an extra $5 for the 3rd person/air mattress. I rarely have a booking for 3, so maybe people prefer to have a more private sleeping arrangement than an air mattress in the living room.
