Airbnb stickers

I understand how @BandB feels. Yes, sometimes members of this forum have a perspective that the original poster hadn’t thought of. More often, the original poster has to justify his/her decision to do what he/she plans to do to many posters.

Ahh …another newbie writing guidelines and schooling moderators on how to act on OUR forum! Too good!

No emojis needed!

Get your stickers and stick away for all we care!

If this has an exterior exit, I went with a personalized garden sign. I’m not sure if you have branded your unit, but you can have it say “Lake Oasis” or whatever you branded it.

Hi @Annet3176

As mods @konacoconutz and @KKC will have been involved in developing forum guidelines so will be aware of what they are.

One of the reasons people love this forum is the way it can go completely off topic. There are plenty of other forums for those who prefer a more traditional Q&A approach.

I was certainly trying to help @BandB by identifying a security risk they might not have been aware of - I don’t see this as been unhelpful.

@Helsi

Off topic is wonderful and often educational. My comment was not about your raising a concern about safety or anything you posted.

My comments of:" I think we all should consider if our actions encourage “newbies” to participate & promote the stated forum standards:" were related to civility. Sadly some of us (me included) tend to get wrapped up in the current conversation and treat others harshly.

I am almost shocked how this thread took one more turn. From an innocence question about stickers to security, tacky and now newbie and attitude.
I have seen many threads going from someting simple to insane. Criticism after criticism towards the original poster. Members starting to discuss completely different things among themselves.
I find this a complete waste of time, but then again, some people have nothing else to do with their lives sadly.
On this forum I try to help as best as I can for questions I also have experienced. I do also appreciate the simple answers I do get to mine. I do not have time for long lasting discussions and fights. I prefer spending my time on hosting these lovely guests from all over the world in one of my units.

@BandB I got my stickers on E bay. I also got a parking sign to put on my garage for a designated spot for my guests. I got the parking sign from a company that makes any kind of sign you may want. I sent him my own idea and they printed it. Just googled that for a sign company. I know you didn’t ask about that, but thought I would share that anyway.
