Airbnb Restaurant Reservations

Have you all heard about the new restaurant reservation feature?

I thought it was pretty funny that it was started because the Director of Trips couldn’t figure out how to call a restaurant that his host recommended. Doesn’t he know how to use the Guidebook?

Anyway, my husband and I couldn’t figure out how to access the new restaurant reservation feature. I called Airbnb to ask. The customer service representative knew nothing. He said that someone from the Experiences Team would call me back within a couple of hours. Their customer service team is astounding in its incompetence.

It’s just like everything else–roll it out and wait for the feedback.

I called them yesterday and the rep told me he was a newb and that I knew more about the review and response system than he did.

They really need to get the basics down first. Like how to communicate with your hosts who make it possible for you to bring in all the money.
