Those would be bargain basement prices in Hawaii. might be one reason why it’s so challenging to find good Mexican food here.

I live in Venice Beach, CA, and the biggest problem here are guys who buy apartment buildings, kick everyone out, and use airbnb or vrbo to turn them into hotels, which is illegal but hard to enforce. One guy just got a hotel retroactively approved after 3 years of illegal unregistered activity. This pisses a lot of people off, and it is what makes it hard on guys like me with one
unit.
