Airbnb Mirinda in Port Elizabeth don't contact client back when requested to do so

Can Mirinda please phone Mrs Dalene Johannsen on +27 82 615 9897 as a matter of urgency. She sent message yesterday already with no return call. She need accommodation in PE tonight…(How come you don’t give your landline no so that people can get in touch with you direct?..

@Benniesc240759 I am not sure why you are posting this is a forum for hosts.

If you have an issue relating to a guest, you will need to call Airbnb directly.

Good luck.

Will deffinitely do so…The app totally sucks as it does not give the
guest the option to know where the accommodation is unless you have paid
and locked in…just paid for accommodation for an aquaintance only to find
out that it is right near a informal settlement in Walmer Port Elizabeth…

:mega: :mega: :mega: Anybody home? Woohoo?

I’ll see if Walmer, Deal, would like to twin with Walmer, Port Elizabeth. Make a change from St Omer and I bet the music would be great!

Would that be a third party booking then???

I’m not Mirinda, but I called Dalene. She’s on a flight to Seattle now and has booked our place.

I put my feet up for half an hour, then began having fantasies of South African musicians taking over the bandstand on Walmer Green. A chunk of my London based, misspent youth revolved around the SA ANC community in exile, going to their gigs at the 100 Club and The Roundhouse. Such vibrancy in the midst of their exile. I can just see Dudu Pukwana, Pinese Saul and Zila dancing on the green. And such cheering news in the last few days. Ramaphosa is about to give his State of the Nation address and I’m glued to the BBC. Here’s hoping.

Best thread I’ve read in months because it just makes me laugh and put a big smile on my face! All of you are great for running with the absurdity. Cheers to an amazing group.
