Just got this message from Airbnb as a guest and at the bottom were links to message both the host or Airbnb. I wonder if Airbnb CS reps get more calls about trivia that they might without this message.

Your Host, (guy’s name), is a great person to reach out to if you need anything during your stay—but if you ever need us, we’re here 24/7.
I feel torn about that message. On the one hand, it encourages guests to give hosts the opportunity to correct a legitimate issue, but “if you need anything” is also an invitation to entitled behavior.
I wish they’d stop wording things in such ambiguous language. They could just say, “Remember, if you encounter an issue or questions during your stay, contact your host first, so they have a chance to address it.”
Geez. Are they planning to pop over with extra TP, or figure out why the tv isnt connecting? I wish they would just make the mortgage payments and stop pretending they own these homes
