Yes, I did one public tweet on @AirbnbHelp.
They replied with DM within 2 hours I believe, asking for my account email. I provided and then got an email that I was unlocked within hours.
The email gave no real information - just said ā€œlocked due to a technical errorā€.

You are right, and it is precisely why some host that have multiple listings (more than few) may cause in some places a total Ban on Airbnb which is precisely what is happening where I am, not a total ban yet luckely. Airbnb is a great concept, but some host are using said concept and are turning it in to operating as Hotels in residential areas, and that is not only causing problems for them, but for other host as well.
