I recently had cause to INCREASE the price of a Special Offer, at the guest’s request, by $2 from $398 to $400. The guest accepted. Can you guess why? (Hint: it is Covid related).
Something to do with their travel insurance cover, a threshold under which claims won’t be allowed?

As I am sure you are all dying to know the answer. The Victorian state government in Australia where I live is offering $400 accommodation vouchers to get people out post Covid. So my guest was quoted a price of $398 for 2 nights accommodation and wanted me to increase it to $400 so she could claim it back. I wasn’t sure if they would allow you to increase the price but they do.
