A guest hacked part of my garden and stole cuttings

Here in Toronto the Good, if a reasonably expensive home is sold, hooligans with garden trowels descend en masse and dig up every breathing plant.

My sister ran a gardening boutique and it was constantly being raided.

If your last guest was within driving distance, i.e., able to keep the plantlets alive, I would be suspicious.

I apologize for my confusion

I once worked with a gal who had to go bail her brother out of jail for doing this. He lived in an apartment complex that had just landscaped and he dug up a peony or petunia or something, just one little flower out of a 6-pack. They had him on surveillance camera and he went to JAIL! For a flower!
