I was home when they arrived so we unlocked the door for them.
They gave us a 3 star for check in.
I wrote:
Hi, I am very confused about your “3” stars for instructions. This is the message you sent to me and our instructions how to get here are very detailed. The door was unlocked for you when arrived?

Their response: Hello, Susan. Yes, you did indeed mention how to get to the accommodation. We still took the wrong road; it was our mistake.
My response:
But you gave us a 3 star, but not our error. We give very detailed instructions so people can find our place easily.
Their response: We’re sorry, but we still made a mistake. Indeed, it’s not your fault. We really enjoyed your accommodation and its surroundings!
