Before you come, please be aware that we get lots of bugs it in the tropics. Some are big but nearly all are harmless. If you see one, don’t panic! It’s part of the charm of Hawaii. No really! Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaa.

I’ve made a little picture and framed it for my Air rooms titled “In our Garden…” with photos and names of the bugs, lizards and birds that reside here so guests get a heads up. Has worked a charm so far (even when a weta popped in to visit…http://www3.sciencedump.com/content/new-zealand-giant-tree-weta)
